Thank you very much for visiting online Hobbing.com's Gear CAD Library.

We have just begun to upload software files. (Aug. 2006)
Lots of software files are comming up to be downloaded free of charge or charged.
Each software runs online or offline in command prompt of Windows XP or lower versions. Our software generates involute gear tooth geometry in *.dxf format and numerical data in *.txt format. Geometry is calculated based on an advanced and researched way. [ Click to see how geometry is calculated. ]

How the software is charged

(1) Programs that generate LOW numbers of ponits to contruct gear tooth geometry will be free of charge. Curve error due to the line segment by adjacent points will be less than 1/100 per unity module or diametral pitch.

(2) Programs that generate MEDIUM numbers of ponits to contruct gear tooth geometry will be charged. Curve error due to the line segment by adjacent points will be less than 1/1000 per unity module or diametral pitch.

(3) Programs that generate HIGH numbers of ponits to contruct gear tooth geometry will be charged. Curve error due to the line segment by adjacent points will be less than 1/10000 per unity module or diametral pitch.

Users may use free program before they decide to purchase medium or high precision programs. Hobbing.com advises users to use medium precision programs to manufacture medium quality gears, and to use high precision programs to engineer gears in an analytical way or to manufacture high quality gears.

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR both ROYALTY-FREE and ROYALTY SOFTWARE OF HOBBING.COM

The terms and conditions that follow set forth a legal agreement between the end user and Hobbing.com 
relating to the computer software of Hobbing.com accompanying this Agreement. 
The term Software includes and these terms and conditions also apply to software 
from third parties. You should carefully read these terms and conditions BEFORE downloading and/or run the Software.  
Downloading and/or run the Software will signify your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.  
If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, select DO NOT ACCEPT at the end of this agreement 
and the download or run will be aborted.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE:  
Hobbing.com grants to you a royalty-free or royalty, nonexclusive license to use and copy the Software 
in accordance with this Agreement for your own internal business purposes.

2.  OWNERSHIP OF THE SOFTWARE/ RESTRICTIONS ON COPYING/ OTHER RESTRICTIONS:  
Hobbing.com or its licensors own and will retain all copyright, trade secret and other proprietary rights 
in and to the Software. Each Hobbing.com licensor is a third party beneficiary of this Agreement.  
THE SOFTWARE AND ANY DOCUMENTATION ARE PROTECTED BY COPYRIGHT LAWS AND OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAWS.  
The Software¡¯s structure, organization and code are valuable trade secrets of Hobbing.com and its licensors.  
You may not remove from the Software any copyright or other proprietary rights notice or any disclaimer, 
and you shall reproduce on all copies of the Software made in accordance with this Agreement, 
all such notices and disclaimers and these license terms. You may not transfer, sell, license, sublicense, lend, 
lease or rent the Software or the license granted by this Agreement.  
You may not use any portion of the Software separately from or independently of the Software, modify or 
make works derivative of the Software and you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble 
or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Software.  
You are responsible for the supervision, management and control of the use of the Software, and output of the Software, 
including, but not limited to selection of the Software to achieve your intended results and for establishing 
adequate backup to prevent the loss of data in the event of a malfunction of the Software.
 
3.  TERM:  
The license granted herein will continue until it is terminated by Hobbing.com, in its sole discretion, 
with or without cause. Your rights to use this Software are forfeited if you breach the terms of this license.  
Upon the termination of the license for any such reason, you will destroy all copies of the Software covered by the license. 
The provisions of Articles 2, 3 and 4 of this Agreement shall survive any termination of this Agreement.
 
4.   AS-IS WARRANTY  & DISCLAIMERS
 
4-a. AS-IS Warranty:  
Hobbing.com provides the Software to you AS IS and without a warranty of any kind. 
Hobbing.com and its licensors do not warrant the performance or results you may obtain by using the Software, 
that the Software will meet your requirements or that the operation of the Software will be uninterrupted or error free.  
If you submit data to a Hobbing.com hosted internet site, Hobbing.com will not be responsible for restoring data deleted by you.
 
4-b. Limitations on Warranties:  
The express warranty set forth in this Article 4 is the only warranty given by Hobbing.com 
with respect to the Software furnished hereunder; Hobbing.com and its licensors, make no other warranties, express, implied or arising 
by custom or trade usage, and specifically disclaim the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.  
 
4-c. Limitations on Liability:  
In no event shall Hobbing.com or its licensors be liable for special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages 
(without limitation damages resulting from loss of use, loss of data, loss of profits or loss of business) 
arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the Software furnished hereunder, 
even if Hobbing.com or its licensors have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You further agree that this Agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of your agreement with Hobbing.com relating to the Software and supersedes any other agreement, oral or written, or any other communications between you and Hobbing.com relating to the Software.
